Our processing times for applications through the mail are four weeks from the time they are received in the Office of Vital Records. Your application status will automatically be updated once your request has been processed. If you provided an email address, you will receive automated email updates. If you submitted your application to the Office of Vital Records less than four weeks ago, there will likely not be a status update, as applications are processed in the order in which they are received.
This feature provides you with the ability to check the status of your application at your convenience upon submission of your application to the Office of Vital Records. You will need Application (tracking) ID issued by the Office of Vital Records to access this service. For applications created online, you can find the Application (tracking) ID on the top right corner of your application form.
