Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial disease spread through the air from one person to another. People most likely to get TB are those who live with or have close contact with a person who has contagious TB and is not getting proper treatment. Symptoms of TB may include a persistent cough that doesn’t go away, fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite and fever.
