Prince William Health District Launches Community Health Assessment Survey – Your Health Your Voice

MANASSAS, Va. – The Prince William Health District (PWHD) in collaboration with the Community Healthcare Coalition of Greater Prince William (CHCGPW) announces the official launch of its Community Health Assessment Survey to learn about the top health concerns, behaviors, and resource needs of residents living in the Greater Prince William Region. This 5–10-minute anonymous survey is available in English and Spanish to everyone 15 years and older. Paper copies of the survey will be available at all PWHD offices and certain partner organizations. It will be offered in other languages in October.

This survey is part of a comprehensive regional Community Health Assessment (CHA). Information is collected about what health problems are affecting community members, what services are available, and what needs to improve. We get this info from health data, surveys, community conversations, and most importantly, from YOU.

“The CHA is about getting a clear picture of the urgent health needs in our community and aligning community resources to better address those needs,” said Acting Prince William Health District Director Olugbenga Obasanjo, MD. “A key step is to hear directly from residents about the health needs in our community, and we encourage community members from all walks of life to get involved and provide feedback during this process.”
