Environmental Health Services

The Pittsylvania-Danville Health District provides environmental services and education to assess and monitor environmental factors that can potentially affect our health. The Environmental Health team provide services in many program areas including permitting and inspecting of food establishments, tourist establishments, onsite sewage systems, and private wells. We investigate animal bites/rabies exposures and general environmental complaints.
