Oral health education curricula were developed for elementary, middle, and high school students to complement the Virginia Department of Education Health Education Standards of Learning (SOLs). The goal of the oral health curricula is to educate children and adolescent students about the impact of health behaviors on oral and overall health. For the classroom teacher, lesson plans in both curricula refer to specific Health Education SOLs.
