Piedmont Health District Cancels Saturday COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics

FARMVILLE, Va. – The Piedmont Health District is canceling the two COVID-19 vaccination clinics scheduled for Saturday, May 14 due to inclement weather.  The clinics were scheduled for 8 to 11 a.m. at the FACES Food Pantry located at 482 Commerce Road in Farmville and 2 to 6 p.m. at the Crewe Touch a Truck event at Golubic Stadium, located at Plant and Atlantic Streets in Crewe.

Piedmont Health District staff will work to reschedule these vaccination clinics for the earliest available opportunity. At this time, the dates of the rescheduled events have not been set.

Anyone still needing a COVID-19 vaccine is encouraged to visit www.vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 1-877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682, TTY users call 7-1-1). English- and Spanish-speaking operators are available. Translation services also are available in more than 100 languages.
