Roanoke City & Alleghany Health Districts to Hold COVID-19 Remembrance on March 15, 2022

(ROANOKE, Va.) – The Roanoke City & Alleghany Health Districts (RCAHD) plans to hold a joint COVID-19 remembrance event on Tuesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at the Berglund Center.

The purpose of the event is to observe two years since the first case of COVID-19 was identified in RCAHD, remember those who have died, and thank the top partners of public health in the ongoing pandemic efforts.

Representatives of local emergency medical services, regional emergency management, local healthcare systems, the Virginia National Guard, and volunteers including the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps will be in attendance. The event is not open to the public.
