Environmental Health Tech Specialist
Serves as environmental health technical leader, mentor & subject matter expert as an advanced practitioner for the agency in one or more EH programs such as food safety, onsite soils evaluation, and grade A milk. Performs complex environmental health functions, provides consultation and training to EH staff, assists in conducting training and may provide formal input into performance evaluations of EH staff. Must complete training within 24 months and obtain one of the following certifications: VDH Certified Milk Sanitation Officer, VDH Certified Food Safety District Standardization Officer (DSO), VDH Certified Onsite Sewage System Technical Specialist.

Office Services Specialist
The Lord Fairfax Health District is seeking multiple hires as an Office Service Specialist for the Shenandoah County Health Department, Warren County Health Department, and Page County Health Department. This position will primarily be based in one of the listed locations 5 days a week but may need to cover in other offices throughout the district. This position is responsible for environmental health and medical office duties. Duties will include (but not limited to): patient eligibility and registration, medical billing and posting of payments, data entry and completing vital records requests.

Office Services Supervisor Sr.
The Lord Fairfax Health District is seeking an Office Services Supervisor Sr. to manage clinic operations services and supervise a team of Office Service Specialists (OSS) to ensure efficiency in customer service and workflow processes. Office Services Supervisors also provide continual feedback, education, and on the job training to staff as areas of opportunity are identified. They will work closely with management to set key performance indicators, monitor performance, and provide feedback up and down the department chain. The Office Services Supervisor will also be expected to perform front end duties. You may be requested to travel throughout the district.
