Other Notes: TheCOVID-19 pandemic was a catalyst for many in the U.S. to discover or re-engagewith outdoor recreation. However, a recent study published in Land reports thatthe increase in recreation was primarily among white people while recreationamong people of color decreased. The study highlights the ongoing disparitiesin access and inclusion in the outdoors and the crucial need for solutions.

In this webinar, presenters will discuss the necessity ofaccess and inclusion, propose solutions, and share current initiatives at theirorganizations that work toward equity and diversity in outdoor spaces. You’llwalk away with a better understanding of the disparities in outdoor recreationand how you can address them in your own work.

Join us to learn more about how to influence theplanning process, building cross-sectoral collaborations, and elevating communityvalues in the built environment.
