COVID-19 Precautions
Please see the following information concerning COVID-19 precautions being taken by the Virginia Department of Health.
The Virginia Department of Health has implemented COVID-19 mitigation policies which align with Executive Order 79 (2021) and Order of Public Health Emergency 10 due to the Delta variant. Effective September 1, 2021, all VDH employees, assignees and affiliated individuals are required to wear a face mask that covers nose and mouth in indoor public spaces.
This event is sponsored by OEMS which is following the guidance of the CDC and the Virginia Department of Health. This directive is consistent with CDC guidance recommending the use of cloth face masks to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others if you are in an area with substantial or high transmission of SARS-CoV-2. Virginia and most of the U.S. are experiencing high or substantial community transmission of the virus.
What to Expect Upon Arrival
During and throughout the meeting, you will be obligated to:
