Powhatan Community Health Assessment

A historical wayside with a courthouse, green lawn and blue sky.A Community Health Assessment (CHA) is an initiative that aims to better understand the factors that affect health and quality of life in a community. The Powhatan Community Health Assessment kicked off in January of 2024. Currently, a steering committee is in the process of examining both existing data and community input to better understand of the strengths and needs of the County. Whatever issues the community decides are most important will be the focus of our health improvement planning cycle. They will help guide and inform future community initiatives.

Share your input by completing the community survey. It only takes four minutes to complete. We need input from 380 residents to get an accurate representation of Powhatan’s 31,000 residents. It is open through September 2024. Please share with your friends and family in Powhatan.
