COVID-19 Vaccine Options

COVID-19 Vaccination Update

On September 12, 2023, the CDC endorsed updated COVID-19 vaccine recommendations from its Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) panel.  With the new recommendations, everyone 6 months and older is eligible to receive the new 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and Moderna.  For many people, the 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine will be one dose of a monovalent vaccine, meaning that it targets the Omicron variant XBB.1.5.  Bivalent vaccines are no longer available.
