EH specialists protect water supplies and groundwater by permitting private wells and septic systems and investigating reports of sewage system failures.
Onsite Sewage and Water Programs
Our retail food program helps prevent food-borne illness outbreaks by permitting and inspecting restaurants and investigating reports of illness among patrons and employees. Our milk specialists implement a permitting and inspection program to ensure the safety and quality of Grade A milk and milk products.
EH specialists prevent the spread of rabies by investigating animal bites coordinating proper follow-up to potential exposure to rabies.
EH specialists help ensure safe living and recreational conditions by permitting and inspecting migrant labor camps, hotels, campgrounds, summer camps, day care centers and other establishments.
