Immunizations

What

Public health nurses give immunizations to protect against vaccine-preventable diseases.

Anyone making an appointment for pneumonia vaccine, either PCV13 (pnemococcal conjugate vaccine) or PPV23 (pnemococcal polysaccharide vaccine) must bring a prescription from their clinician indicting which pneumonia vaccine they would like their client to receive.

For Whom

Infants, children, adolescents and adults.  Please bring a copy of your immunization record if available.

Fees

Required childhood immunizations are provided at no charge. All other vaccines have a charge.
