Back to School Immunizations

The Blue Ridge Health District is hosting Back to School Immunization Clinics to provide school-required vaccines for Fall 2024. 

Immunizations are based on grade level.

  • Rising kindergartners: Hep B, Hep A, Dtap, Polio, MMR, Varicella
  • Rising 7th graders: Tdap, HPV, & Meningococcal 
  • Rising 12th graders: Meningococcal 

Charlottesville & Albemarle County:

Greene County

  • ServingRising Kindergartners, 7th, & 12th graders in Greene County
  • When: Tuesday, August 6 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Friday, August 9 from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, & Monday, August 12 from 8:30 to 11:30 AM
  • Location: Greene County Health Department (50 Stanard St, Stanardsville VA)

Louisa County

  • ServingRising 7th & 12th graders in Louisa County
  • When: Tuesday, August 6 from 8:30 to 11:30 AM & Wednesday, August 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Location: Louisa County Health Department (101 Woolfolk Ave, Suite 202, Louisa, VA)
  • Walk-ins only, no appointment required – vaccine supply is limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis.

  • Walk-ins only, no appointment required – vaccine supply is limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Note: Please bring a copy of your child’s insurance or Medicaid card if applicable. Uninsured children are welcome! Minors must be accompanied by an adult ages 18 and older.
